Love the zoom flukes. In previous times if I was not throwing a rapala I was probably throwing a zoom superfluke. Caughy many pickerel on them. Have not tried the paddle tail version, but if ever get to come out of fishing retirement I will certainly give them a try.

Back in the old days when fish grips came out everyone said only use boga for pike/muskie/pickerel as the fish grips would supposedly break their jaw. Reminds of paper to plastic and now back to paper....

Tried that years ago in the yak and it was just too much. Lots of guys do pack 8 to 10 rods in a kayak. Found 3 to 4 is my limit. Easier and faster to change the bait than to spend the time and energy to manage a forest of rods sticking up behind you waiting to get pulled out by branches or...
