I'm just here enjoying the show lol. I try to use the appropriate tackle for the situation, regardless the species. I use spinning rods when casting most stickbaits. Rogues and Husky jerks are a bit lighter and pretty flighty. Redfins and spooks are on baitcasters to to their size.

I havent thrown beetle spin type baits in a looong time. Did well on the Susky with them. I use a regular spinnerbait for bass sometimes🤭. I've caught a few on it :cool:

Pure....it was late lol. Last night 8:30 til 2:30, I usually start around sunset, fish til I'm done fishing, usually between 2-5am

Fun night on the water. Got three walleyes in the first hour. Sat in the area for another hour with nothing. Started running my regular spots but no more walleyes. Found an area with some bait up and stripers working them. Ended up with eight stripers but mostly 17-21" hybrids. One small prue.

Damn......I could have had about 6-7 pounds of fillets!! lol

Good night on the lake. 8:30 - 4:30. Six walleyes, two small stripers and lost a pretty decent striper. Wind was tough from 11 til 2. Couldnt even fish a couple spots due to it. Actually got one in an area I dont often try as I was hiding from the wind.
