    They wont cut it in 25-40 feet deep. Fish are still in winter mode, holding on channel edges around brushpiles

    Maiden voyage for the open water season. Lot of graphing, lot of tinkering with the livescope. Fish were really deep. 32-37'. Got 3 nice smallies, 6 perch.

    Nothing wrong with that. I just dont use finesse stuff during the warmer season. Havent in many years. When I did the small Cabin Creek spider was very good.

    They've been around for years. That's one of the original Keitech baits. Very productive on deep, cold water smallies. I mostly use the 3" on a football head

    What the best lithium batt for the hard water

    Ionics in my boat. They didnt have a bigger ice pack style battery with spade connectors. So far very happy with it. I run a Milwaukee Fuel for my auger. I bring them in and let them sit for two hours to warm up before I put them on the charger.

    I picked up an Amped Outdoors 15ah. I ran a Hook 7 for about seven hours and the battery indicator didnt move. Put it on the charger and it came up full in fifteen minutes. I got it on sale battery and 3amp charger for $99
