Yeah, I’ve broken rods including being around when nice ones made by members here broke. This was as you said, the one rod. Ever have any luck getting a blank to fit an old handle/reel seat or am I asking for issues?

Yeah I had a spinning rod with me and catching a 6lbs rainbow in a random spot sorta made it a good morning.

A bunch of small wild browns the day the fly rod broke. Then a 6 lbs colorful rainbow but phone acted up so bad pics. Neighbor got a nice brown in the same spot.

My oldest got younger kids into Imagine Dragons. I wasn’t super impressed until I heard their tribute to Ben E King.

Legends in their prime from my era mostly died from ODs or depression since. Growing up in 90’s so missed a few truly talented. Coolest performer I’ve met, NewsBoys turned Zealand singer. Really funny, skinny jeans, now proudly AR shooting US Citizen. Real nice guy and pretty talented.
