Its a very unreliable pattern. They had a perfect situation. Heavy overcast, even a passing shower. Decent breeze all day too. Those are the best conditions for that pattern but even those days arent assured to have then up and chewing.

I fillet a few fish every winter. I've never had pin bones??? Only heard that term used with pike/pickerel. You fillet it around the rib cage or you take off the ribcage with the fillet then cut it off.

I use several Keitech products. All of their swimbaits, leeches on a dropshot, spiders,and the football jig. Deep is a realitive term. For me deep on the Pack is 15 to 25 feet. On Harveys you're not considered deep til 40 and goes to ???. Big Mike isnt fishing Gouldsboro. Him and the Reynolds...

BIG browns run up there now. They come up from the lake to spawn. Idk how successful they are but they make the run.

I doubt I'll be able to fully retire. Bidenomics will see to that. I can get by with part time. I need to get the latest numbers on how much I can make and not get a penalty.

I feel your pain brother. I havent fished much this season. I'm on a bit of a different mission. I've decided to retire in January. This shitty job I took isnt making life any better either. Now I'm filling up coffee cans and burying them in the yard lol.

I've fished a lot of tournaments in my time. Mostly bass but we do get to a few striper/walleye tourneys. I fished with long time friends for many years. I've made a lot of friends thru tournament fishing. From 2011 thru 2020 one of my sons was my partner, a couple seasons I fished two trails...

Thats what I've seen. I would probably use it for panfish more than anything. I'm a night, power fisherman at heart. Crank,chatter,spinnerbait are my weapons 95% of the time bass fishing at night. Striper and eyes the same thing. Your ears are just as important as anything when fishing them...

Honestly I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it lol. It was an impulse buy because I got a good deal. I just dont think I will get that much use from it.

All the guys that fish a bit deeper and slower struggled a bit. Better fish were up and in a chasing mood.

Great night on the Pack. We won with 5 for 16.31#. Best fishing in a while. Bite was steady all night with a little lull from 1 til 2:30. Fish were shallow, 1 to 4 feet of water, right where I like them. Lots of nice fish. We culled out 11 fish from 2.1 to 2.75#. Caught well over 20 keepers...
