It is that simple. If you get those. Others have the bands and dont come off a cleanly. I make my spinner/chatterbaits and jigs. I buy the skirt layers to make custom color skirts. I'm pretty picky and want specific designs.

All the smaller lakes have been open at least a week. Harveys is open. The Pack opened up Friday. Still a little in the back of bigger coves as of Saturday evening but minimal. Time to uncover the boat!!

Tension isnt set correctly. Also something you might want to try. Keep your casting elbow tucked against your body when casting. It takes a concisous effort at first but it makes a difference. Try it until you get more comfortable with that set up. You cant cast like its a spinning rod. Also...

Sad day 😢😢😢.Looks like the last day on the ice for the season. FEW was not fishable so I hit Lackawanna. Caught over 60 of fish. Lots of tiny gills. Kept 1 calico and 11 gills. Still 9+" shore was solid heading out but look suspect in several areas coming in.

I think in the susky the only thing better than clippers is stone cats.

I use the Hound Dog on an old broken baitcast rod. A junker reel with 80# braid. HD is correct. I've wrapped the braid around a boat cleat and move logs
