    Modern and Dept. Store reel?

I had two of those years ago. I cast left handed so the trigger wasnt in the best position. I took them off. Still wasnt a fan of not having instant anti reverse. And never close the bail using the handle. Always flip it shut by hand.

[Archived] What did you Catch Today?

I've heard of walleye there a long time ago then they seemed to vanish for 20 - 30 years. Regulars told me they got a good number of smaller ones last year. There a giant smallmouth there, reports of big browns that come down from the Lehigh. Being deep isnt really a requirement for walleyes...

Saint??? Thank you but a title never earned and certainly not deserved. Yeah I can tell. Different sizes for different situations. 2" swing vs a 3.8 fat.

70 feet is the drop from the summer pool too winter pool. Lake is up 12 feet as of 2pm so thats out for the weekend. I guess the perch and calico dont mind the level swings. Guy I know was telling me he got calico 55 feet down in 103 feet of water.

Its an different fishery. Picked up a couple things already. They aint afraid of bigger baits thats for sure. Its not an alewife lake but there is a lot of forage. Without a graph fishing here would be painful. Livescope will work wonders there.

A mutual friend of ours loves it there and has been trying to get me to go for three years. After my son did well on the...

    Rod Protection

I have them for every fishing rod I own, yes including my ice rods. Great for keeping rods from tangling on the road and on a choppy lake. I carry 8 to 15 rods in the locker at times and no problems. Hooks will stick in them. I use the hook bonnets on all the treble hooks I have rigged. They...
