    Wholesale Hooks

The reason I use the O rings is because that's what I read about when I was first exposed to the idea in fishing magazines years ago. The reason I use different types of hooks is because I have them. When I started I started out using what they recommended in the magazine articles. But I...

    Wholesale Hooks

Never caught anything on them. Never even got a bite. So I keep trying different things. Not something I use a lot, but days like yesterday when my preferred methods are not working I start trying different things, going through the boxes.

    Wholesale Hooks

Varies from #8 to 2/0. Type varies too. Done it with J hooks, baitholders, circles, etc

    Wholesale Hooks

I do the O ring and O ring tool. hook through the O ring. I've never just stuck the hook through the bait.

    Reading The Fishfinder

I tightened all of the nuts and bolts on the transducer arm, and made sure it was straight and flat. Also was in the Ride today, which is way more stable than the Yellowfin. What am I looking at?

    Idiots

I used the "kayak launches" at Blue Marsh's north launch today. I am convinced they are bank fishing spots and kayakers and canoers are just hijacking them. I did see a couple of yakkers using the main launch, which is two sided. They did what I do and rigged on the grass then just straight...

[Archived] What did you Catch Today?

Just one sunfish today at Blue Marsh. Had another one get off that was smaller than the Rapala, and also had what would have been a PB bass throw the lure in a beautiful jump. Lots of sunfish and bass and even a carp followed the Rapala around but did not strike. Nothing looked at any other...

    News report

https://www.fishandboat.com/Fish/FishingRegulations/Documents/2022summarybook.pdf It would make sense to have this regulation not apply to invasive species, though I can find no evidence that have done that. But if you were looking at a snakehead in the water, could you tell it from a bowfin?

    News report

Damn. Sucks that someone put them in there but now I want to fish there even more. May have to take my chances with getting run over.

    Braid, There I said it!

I aught that one bass at Memorial. Due to excessive excessiveness I have not gotten to fish nearly as much as I should have. I don't even think I've wet the yak yet. I tried real hard that day with TS, but, you know, his bad luck and all.....:ROFLMAO: Don't worry little guy. Keep trying...

Definitely call the rangers. Look up the number ahead of time and have it ready.

    Idiots

I would do it at Swatara State Park. I've never seen a ranger there. But the launches are really the only places it is feasible anyway. Yaks and canoes are the only things launching there anyway. Most of are trying to get on the water so I never see anyone just sitting on the launch...

    Idiots

Depends on the parks. I've had them come up to me and check my fishing license a number of times at Memorial and once at Pinchot. Is Nock a state park? If it is and you run into that again call the rangers. The assholes will get a stern talking to or maybe even a ticket, and next time they...

    Idiots

Yeah, like I said if I had those I would use them. They were beautiful. For them to have all of those paddle launches there have to be a ton of kayakers there and only 4 or 5 were a problem. No Rav4s involved. They are too week to haul anything, even kayaks. If a Rav 4 was blocking the...
