Brookie Hunting

Hit a small stream in the Poconos today looking for brookies and caught about 20 small wild browns instead. What a fun day!

That’s mean.
I have a bunch of ocean city fly reels. But my favorites are the medalists, some older than me. I know they’re cheap but darn I like them.
Although I don’t use them I like the automatics as well.

That’s mean.

Very simple inside but with a drag. I've never caught a fish heavy enough to need a drag.
