Its fun. A boat in 25 degrees, wind isnt fun. Heater isnt going to do much. In 0 degrees I can get in my flipover, no wind, run the heater and be very comfortable.

I always looked at from the perspective, I'd rather be active outdoors than be inside complaining or watching the refs decide football games.

Saturday looks ok. Great perch bite on the Pack before the rain last weekend

Frances Slocum shallow side was all locked up on Wed. Shoreline was gone but that may be due to a rise in the lake level. Closest ice to shore was an inch of milky ice and an inch of slush on top. Even the dam side was more than 1/2 locked up.

I was past there today too. Idk what the Saturday storm will do but I'm confident I'll be on ice next Friday, maybe even Thursday
