Invasive mud snails

So I've been hearing mud snails are being stocked in the creeks with our trout. Something about the trout are eating the snails and then will when they come out they are still alive
Believe a third party club started it.

Anyone else with a little more info.

Wonder if it's going to hurt the stocking but seems like they are just doing it.

True, very true.

I don't see any mention so far of either fish eating them or of them surviving if eaten. Doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Only 2 sources so far and out of time to look for more. I will try to remember to keep digging later.

I’ve found this article saying they can be eaten and survive but just wondering if PA came out about it. Seems like they are trying to hide this one.
