Jig Arch

Weird Huh, jig arch?
You all know that I fish in my swimming pool. An obvious advantage is that I can see how things perform whereas I used to just imagine it. I've often heard that FC sinks better/faster but I feel that Mono ain't bad either. Did you know that when retrieving at lowers speeds with a 3/8 minnow/weight that the line dosed not go straight to the jig eye. From where your line enters the water on a forty-five degree angle back the line remains straight . As jig reaches 3-4' deep the line bends severely to an almost vertical condition. Then the jig runs level.

Not sure on this one I’ve always had better luck vertical jigging than a angle in my line like ice fishing or jigging straight down from the boat now if I’m moving with the wind or currents then that’s a little different and becomes a drift or drag deal
