Good luck at lake Jean. Those campsites fill up quick on holidays. I don't really know much about locust, I've never been there, but I've never had much luck at Jean either. I usually just stick to hiking the falls when I'm there anymore.

Personally I wouldn't mess with any State Park during a Holiday. They become more like a refugee camp than a park.
