Usually I know what’s in the waters and what I’m usually fishing for but when fishing the river never know what you can hook into. It really never bothers me unless it a big fish that I hook into and gets off without seeing it but this time i hooked into something big in the river and only saw it’s tail. Then it got off and it got to me just not knowing what i even hooked into.

Well let’s try to figure it out… where were you-what were you using-did the tail give any clues??

Was on a plastic zoom craw. It could have been anything from a carp, Muskie,pike. From the tail don’t think it was a cat. Hiding in the floating weeds.
