Pin Bones

Caught this very healthy guy tonigh. Hair over14”. The green marker is where the pin bones are. So I make a little Vee and remove them. If I had the correct type of tweezers I’d try them but I don’t.

What I do even with trout if I see them. I tried pliers but mushes meat. A-5 can attest to my collection of underused tools. Suffice to say I’ve tried a dozen or so small unique pliers and all mush meat messily.
