Spinnerbaits

I've been using Beetle Spin for three years. They are such a useful and changeable little item. Sizes: 1/32, 1/16, 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 ounces. It wonders me though, If i'd use the bigger spinnerbaits would I attract larger fish, or would I find them to be less weedless and less flexible?
Please, if you have ever been fond of these, or have gotten good at using these, please share your observations and perhaps a few near and dear real life stories.
I know one thing, Beetles spins really catch fish. Maybe not big Stripers and huge Bass and Walleye but they are almost weedless and generally prosperous tool for catching a lot of fish.

I havent thrown beetle spin type baits in a looong time. Did well on the Susky with them. I use a regular spinnerbait for bass sometimes🤭. I've caught a few on it

I have caught sunfish 1/4 the size of the bait or smaller on beetle spins and jigs with a spinner under the head. Never anything big though.

Update: I bought a nice dbl willow blade strike king spinnerbait in white. I loaded on a keiteck 4" white shiner. I expected to get a bass or nice pickerel and instead got a 11" crappy. Boy, I was surprised.

for smalls as well?
Smallmouth? I've only used spinnerbaits for largemouths but I know a few guys that swear by them for smallies. The worms as trailers never worked well for me. I used to use the very small tube style baits (1-inch) on the Beetle Spin types, great for panfish.
