I have. Do well in the spring when the trout that hatched the year before are like 4” long. Some big browns really love them.

I’ve seen this before someone spent a lot of time preparing feathers and probably a good amount of glue

FlyGuy is that fly buoyant or does it sink pretty fast. Those hooks are monsters.

They are size 2 hooks. The fly is about 4” total. Those are lead dumbbell eyes so it drops pretty quick

Well because then you don’t really have the movement you want.

No. Really won’t stand out correctly. I use either wire or heavy mono and tie it in.
