Still working on editing a trip video, but I did put a short out.

It's actually a very good stream for Trout, both stocked and native. I've fished it before. I'm working on editing footage for a video now. I'll post it when I'm done.

Camp right along this Trout stream. I was too wupped after that hike to even think about fishing by the time I got camp setup. I planned to fish the next morning, which I did for 1/2 an hour or so. I ate breakfast and went for my "morning constitution " and a group of 3 kids came in and...

First part of the trails were beautiful. This part just got worse and worse until you were just going over a Boulder field.

Heading out tomorrow, camping next to a really nice Trout stream. Hopefully it's worth carrying an ultra light spinning rig and some lures.

Have you considered a big ass tarp. Imagine that stretched out with tarp poles in the front. Blocking the wind and nice and dry. 😉

Might be. He's too small to be a stockie and I caught him well above anywhere they stock that stream. It's a mixed bag in there, but where I was is usually all native fish.

Rain came through on my way home, so I hit up the little Brookie stream. Couple little ones, this was the best of the bunch. Ain't much, but at least I have something to post for a change. 😁

Good luck at lake Jean. Those campsites fill up quick on holidays. I don't really know much about locust, I've never been there, but I've never had much luck at Jean either. I usually just stick to hiking the falls when I'm there anymore.
