I can say one thing about the mess that can happen with a bait caster when you do get the dreaded nest don’t pull hard on the line use your thumb and slowly work the line back and forth pulling lightly on the tail and a lot of times you can get it unraveled

Lol big difference between braid and mono on a bait caster the cost when you have to cut the nest out

I only have one bait caster that I actually throw I run 10 to 15 pound mono on it and only throw heavy bait with it like spinner and buzz bait and rattle traps.I keep my settings pretty heavy just to try to manage the backlash when it happens.

Oh boy better leave a report on the pac got one channel cat for about 6 hours worth of fishing couldn’t catch a cold oh well got to fish some new water and I’m sure I’ll be going back it’s fishing folks not always catching did learn that there is lot of timber on the bottom
