I'm contemplating the same thing or the same reasons. This year I wont be able to fish tournaments with my either of my sons, work schedules. I do have a tourney partner lined up and he has a boat. Couple other buddies with boats too. I could become b.b.t and still get out a lot.

Just getting there on the Pack. Several other lakes around me they seem to be done spawning. Couple buddies got them earlier this week at two shallower, smaller lakes and they were off the banks already.

Yep. Last night all on rouges. Clown or chrome/blue.

Back at them again. Total 5 walleyes, 3 stripers. All the stripers were small but still fum. Bigger walleye is 7.38#

Good fight. More of a power head shake, not fast runs. We get a lot of bigger eyes in the Pack. 5s are common. 7s fairly frequently so any fish that size are good fighters.

Yes...... to both. Idk if Id say strong fishy but I thing the smaller ones are better. I dont keep many gamefish. A couple walleye a year thats it. Love my panfish in the winter.

All went back. I was going to keep that smaller one. It was only barely legal. I dont keep them over about 19".

Back on the Pack last night. Did ok. Smaller fish for the most part. Did get a couple nice bass too. Its going to get really good soon. Bait has moved somewhat shallower and higher in the water column.

I remember keeping them in strips of burlap and grape leaves. Kept them in the basement where it was cooler.

They are pretty much everywhere around the lake. Very plentiful, and get pretty aggressive.

Lots of water, oj, gatorade.

Not a bad night on the lake. Did the walleye/striper tourney. Won striper with a 12.6#. Had another hybrid about 18". Didnt get a walleye. Couple bass, some giant rockbass too. First place walleye was just over 6#.

53 to 55 on the pack last night. I was willing to stay most of the night but quit about 1am. It was 37 degrees when I was leaving at 1:30. Low 30s every night around here. Had Frost M, Tu, W mornings.

Boat. But in a week or two several shore fishing opportunities will start. The trout fingerlings are going in the 26th. Thats always a ball. Alewives SHOULD be starting their spawn about then so fishing around the state launch will be very good. Wilsonville area is a good spot to fish from...
