I don’t tip mine with live bait. I use them for weight and keep the hook point riding up.

I hear a lot say color doesn’t matter but I have to disagree. Red is the first color to change and then certain colors go after that.

Glad to see it lived and got bigger. Should hold a big fish like that horizontal and with 2 hands. Support its weight. Sure is a beast.

Lol I picked up a small one grab it close to the mouth at the time didn’t feel nothing but when I looked at the fish it had blood all over it than realized my thumb was sliced open. Don’t get close to the teeth. :)

I usually don’t do colors at all.

I like the surf xray. The very top one but I thought it said surf rods were excluded from the deal. And rods over 8 ft. If I read it wrong and that rod isn’t I’ll take one.
