Alrighty I give it a shot. When your in 5 feet of water you really going to scare the fish out from under you so in that pic with the red shooting up from the bottom is a tree. The other with the red in a circle shape on the bottom are rocks. Soft bottom has no red color. Also shallow water...

They where pretty active in the creeks but the lake nothing. Might wanna check your lakes out as the bluegill where all in the shallow hiding in the debris. Think they are go to spawn.

Great to hear for the power coming back. Got out today myself one smallmouth and missed 3 carp. Just enjoyed the day.

I do like my humminbird but I'm sure the others are good to. All depends on how much you want to spend for the features they give. Also is this for the kayak

Right now with gas prices I didn’t plan on to many long trips. Only if you guys were closer I’d be there but count me out again as I don’t think I can make a 4 or 5 hr trip. Good luck to those who make it.

I think they are pretty much gone from there also. Same with the Ohio river.
