I have no problems with reading my screen and shows me what I need to see in deep water. As for the delay I never get one. If I do can't even notice it. I can drop a big lure in under the transducer and can read it all the way. I usuallylike jigging this way.

You might want to look at something with side sonar. That should help out with the shallow waters. They have so much out there and came a long way with it. As for flasher i would save it for ice. I’ve never used one so don’t know how they work but don’t you have to sit still for it to work.

I wouldn’t recommend a flasher from a boat. You could get more use out of a screen, that can show you more of the bottom structures than just a green and red line going up and down.

Doesn’t look hard. I might be able to do it not exactly like that but I’m sure I could come up with something. Glow in the dark bead. Either a dubbing or thread under layer. Glow in the dark ribbing vinyl. Could even do a glow in the dark thread. Then just uv glue.

Salmon die after they spawn. The trout will stay up all winter then make their way back to the lake.

My buddy is a big salmon nut. He’s hitting them hard this year. Been getting into some nice ones.

Arm and back is hurting doing some combat fishing. Had to take a 5 min break Don. You go back to your little fish. I got some big fish pics coming. Not to much into salmon as I would have to drive 5 to 6 hrs to get there but I've done it and is a blast.

When you say clear do you mean see threw like mono or silver. If it’s a shiny silver it may cause them to strike the leader which is not good.

I only calls them steelhead cause that's what everyone else calls them but why don't they call brown trout another name.
