Anyone ever see this. Saw it on sale for black Friday thought I'd give it a try.

Instead of the 3d printer it’s a pen that melts abs or pla plastic.

Will it sink or float?

It will sink. I also cut a split shot in half and put that in the belly so it sinks a little faster but also keeps it from spinning upright. I’m hoping.

If you want it to float you might be able to trap something with an air bubble in it.

Maybe build a body around a piece of foam or make some sort of keel made from lead

Right now I just built up the bottom and going to see what happens. It might have to wait till spring depending on weather.
