My last 2 outings for trouts

This week, lower clear water

Fish were actively feeding on streamers today, been awhile since I was able to get the trouts to chase anything.

Seems like them nice simple flies work the best.

I think it's a sign of water warming up, trouts are willing to move a little bit to grab their prey. Jan. & Feb. were tough, trout were barely moving in the cold water, had to drift a nymph right into their mouths practically.

Got a single bump on the fly. Switch to a spinner and got rewarded instantly. Never monsters but something better about wild trout from unstocked streams.

Actuall he looks very intimidating. People ask me does he bite, I say no but he will lick tour face off.
