What type of inline spinners you talking wire or mono/floro I use octopus hooks like you pictured on my walleye spinners using line and have tried them with wire but didn’t like the way they sat when I twisted the wire.

I stated that I caught the Salmon on a Mepps #5. I went to look at it today and it was a Blue Fox Vibrax....somewhere around 3/8 oz or so.
But I've caught another salmon on 1/8 oz Kastmasters.
My goal was to change out the trebles with single weedless hooks on most of my spoons to see if I couldn't use them in heavy weeds.
So you didn't care for the octopus style.

Melvin, Troutspinner and all:
how do you bend your spinner wires. With round-nose pliers or with Hagen's expensive wire bending thingy?

I use to use round pliers but I went over to the Hagen’s when I started selling them for consistency. There is nothing wrong with the round pliers though, they do a great job.
