They are an ancient lure, some river fishermen swear by them, I've never used one.

Used them a lot. Like many other things I couldn't catch $h!t on them. Went back to Rapalas and plastics on offset hooks. Still pull them out and try them regularly.

We use them and everything bites them, especially those Panfish. We don't use the hair jig styles much. Typically curly tails or paddle tails. We caught bass, panfish, Pickerel and even large trout. It might be my go to lure.
