Blue Marsh - Friday 10/1

I’ll be fishing Blue Marsh on Friday if anyone wants to tag along. I have one spot on the boat or you can chase me in your vessel.

Focus will be 100% Bass. Because of conditions and flows, I do not expect the fishing to be that good but they are always famous last words.

The only thing going for it is that the predicted wind will be steady in one direction. It might just be enough to push bait to the SE shoreline so that I/we can find a fluke bite. ???

I would, but this is my weekend to work. I do Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 12 hour shifts. Any chance of you going out next weekend, 10/8-10/11?

Always a possibility. I’ll let you know. A friend mentioned salt fishing next week so if conditions are good, I’ll be salt fishing, if not, BM.

That figures. My intent was to get out tomorrow but the schedule is too tight so that is why I am going Friday. I may beat the banks for a couple hours tomorrow though at some local haunts as there is time for that.

Today went as expected so no one missed anything. I did manage one decent smallie and one small LM.

On the bright side, I caught the smallie where I expected to find it but with little wind today, action was slow. That place definitely likes it when the water is flowing or it is windy…like most places.

It was a great day to get out. Enjoy it while we can. Nice fish.

I was halfway there Thursday when job #2 called so I never made it. Going to try next weekend, but now I had to switch a day at job #1 so I am working Friday. I might sneak out one day this week after other obligations are taken care of, if I can get them done early enough.

Awesome fish. Any time on water is good time
