I have a friend that swore by those for night time bass, I stick with the old black jitterbug, I can pause it or super slow retrieve.

Kinda need open water for these. Weeds will slow or stop the blade from spinning and think that’s what gets them. No depth on them all topwater. That’s what makes them buzz.

Anything that causes noise on the surface at night works great. I do good with walk the dog lures and poppers.

I’ve got a better idea take the grandkids lure shopping with ya then grandma won’t complain on how much you spend then keep the box at your house for when the kids show up that way you get to try everything out lol

That Musky Jitterbug is a great night bait! The Buzz Bait is a lot easier to fish around docks, ropes and weeds.
