Dry Flies

The Mayfly season is upon us. I don't see much discussion on here with regards to dry flies and mayflies, does any tie or fish dries?

im more of a meat and potato fly guy . I do fish elk hair caddis a little and i fish the mooda pooda foam for smallies and used in soom dropper rigs for trout. oh ya and the( usual )if ya ever heard of it. amsome dry fly

sure but you might want to wear a sign danger when casting with a 12wt lol

The only dries I tie is the ones I screw up on and put to much material on and they float other than that I don’t care for them.

Last time out I witnessed some trout coming full out of the water, porposing. They were most likely chasing emergers. This happens when caddis emerge as they are the quickest to propel themselves up to the surface, the fish chase them and their momentum makes for some splashy rises.
