Thanks to A-5’s training wheels, all but reeled in the fish and if he’d been along he may have had too. Great time even with some synchronized swimming into 35 degree water 3x in a day. I’m not sure I’ve seen 3” slush on the bottom of the river. I do think fishing through temps down to the teens soaked probably contributed to the slight head cold I have developed.
