When it gets closer to opening I’ll be switching. Right now I dusted off the vise and got some deer hair minns spun up.

I was having a slow day Wednesday on my local stream. I switched from streamers to a pheasant tail nymph with small "bubble" indicator. The only strike I could visibly see was a trout trying to inhale the small orange bubble. One angler had told me a couple days previously that he was doing well with egg imitations.
