Haven’t hiked it this year(yeah it’s “closed” technically but never stops me). Putting the cupola on yesterday I had a good look at the falls. Not even the small side run was flowing. The “rock” in the V dead center of pic is the more prominent of the 3 falls at Glen Onoko. Can see it from patio when leaves drop.

The flows were up with the dam release and water felt cooler than lately. Maybe drawing from the bottom rather than the overflow gates. Trout might quit floating.

Looks like a nice quiet place. Those trout out my way are sure feeling this heat.

Yeah, it’s usually this at least in winter even with low snowfall
