Yes they are ever time you pull on them they coil up like a spring and you have to untangle them

I have a hard time with them sliding then if you tie to tight the thread rips right into them. Lol. They are a pain.

Try wrapping the rubber around the thread then placing it it really does help compared to holding the rubber against the body and wrapping over it and as for cutting it just don’t pull so hard if you’re worried about them moving a dab of glue will do ya.
