Replacing Floating Mono

I have swapped Mono every season. Generally a few times even. With my centerpin’s floating mono I’ll swap it but I’m curious if I should save it or if it’ll be brittle?

If you save it what will you be using it for.

I don’t know, I’ve been fiddling with random short sections of stuff like Amnesia on various rods for indicator in lower light. Thinking floating mono might be better. Or if I hate the camo stuff I can spin it back on. Unless it has to get replaced yearly for being brittle but it’s only seen water 4-5 times in the last year.

Not sure on floating line but mono line I hear freeze it if you want it to last longer. I never do my mono last good but that’s new mono. If it’s not to beating up now than I think it should still work. I’d put it on a spool again and not clump it up.
