Anyone hunt this opening weekend? Today was my first day off so I took my daughter out. She missed a spike out of the stand this morning. Saw a couple doe and a coyote on drives the rest of the day. Buddy of mine got a nice 10 point early a few hundred yards from us.
Hopeful view from the tree stand right after sun up. Unfortunately the spike came from behind us, making it a little difficult.
This was watch for a drive on one of the islands we hunt. Unfortunately we only saw the coyote running by here.
