Sometimes it’s about just fishing

I fish a state lake and we also camp at it. Bass fishing absolutely sucks size wise. You can catch 5-10 a day but all stunted. I go to it all the time and it’s about fishing not biggest fish. If I cared about the greatness of fishing I would never ever had experienced this beautiful creature. Honestly one of the most beautiful fish I ever caught and it was tiny.

That might be a red spot Gill just saw one on Facebook and as you know everything on Facebook is real lol but it was very similar

Looks like a green sunfish, I can’t say I’ve seen one myself. Awesome looking fish!

That is a Green. Our creek (Deep Run in Dublin) was full of these and it was all I caught as a kid.
