I grew up with a spin cast when switching over to a spinning gave me a little getting used to. Now I won’t even touch a spin cast.

You all remember the Zebco 202 in all plastic and the 33 in stainless. I bet many of you had one or both of them in the 80's, when you were young. Below is a version of the 33 that is nearest to spinning reel performance when adjusted correctly. I use this model as a gill getter when I need Gills as Channel Cal bait. They have 9 ballbearings and are very smooth. This is the model is ZO2 Omega. I also have a ZO3 Pro which Black and faster though slightly larger. Wonderfull reels...pricey but wonderful. Normally loaded with 8 or 10 lb Omniflex Junk Line, but I'll be running 4 or 6 Seige.

What are the drag strengths on those spincast reels? I think I remember them not being too high?
