I like the rage tail craws. I use a texas rig the same way to feel out structure and the bottom. Very similar.View attachment 2478
I toss them at whatever structure I can find. One thing I love about throwing a jig is that a jig is to an angler what brail is to a blind person. You learn the feel of everything on the bottom from rock to wood and even old wood. And then the tick of the bite, it just brings a smile to my face and the ensuing, got em!

Yes, anything you add behind the main lure would be a trailer. I don't do it much with jigs, but I've used the idea a lot on spinner baits. I have some of those jigs A5 showed and I might try the rage tail on them this year though.Is that a “trailer” because it is added to the skirted jig?
