Well it’s not exactly tackle but it would keep you warm fishing on the ice and spring trout season. Vote and give opinion.

I would love to get one. Socks also.
Here is a review of one of the tubers j follow. J in know people who have this and I have heard great things. These aren’t your heated socks from 20 years ago. These are legit

I voted yes but I would never buy one because I am too cheap to buy something that will only be used once or twice a year. During those times, a couple of hand warmers on inside pockets work wonders.

Fair enough. But a cold day in the fall just hit a button. I will say fishing up north. To hit a button and have instant heat on the feet is intriguing to me. I’ve had days in the 40’s. Specifically last year at Niagara. It was raining. Not cold had jacket on. The rain after a while just took over my body I was absolutely cold like strangely cold. I wanted to go. I look back up the trail and I see Reno just showing up it was around noon. I cussed him in my head I must say. This spot has 480 steps alone into the gorge. You don’t just go get warm in the truck. I went for a walk and got my blood flowing and finished the day. But go hit a button and be toasty. Very interesting

If I fished up there as much as you, I would. Especially as I am getting older and colder. ;)

I'll say no for me. My reasoning is I don't want to rely on something like that, that could easily fail. Might be a nice idea for some, but the way I go out in the wilderness, if I'm relying on something to keep me warm I need it to work no matter what. If that heat fails, best case your day on the water or in the woods is ruined. Worst case in cold weather, it's now putting you in a potentially dangerous position.

I'll stick with what I've always used, layering.

There’s not much you can do when your wet and cold. Heated jackets are for millennials commuting to work in NYC. Years ago I took a vowel never to be cold again and I haven’t been. No heated jacket needed just proper non heater clothing.

Get rid of all....completely all cotton, unless you can be sure the perspiration and water won't soil it. Youre right Boot.

I was in Devils Lake North Dakota when it was setting record low temperatures in the -50 range. Spent some time in Ann Arbor Michigan where they closed the school due to cold weather for the first time in its history. That was somewhere in the -40 temps. They opened school again when the temp got up to a balmy -30. Throw in a couple February’s in Minneapolis as Well. I’ve been to NY plenty of times and it does not register in my list of cold places. If my plan goes right I will not be adding to the list of cold places I’ve been to though. my plan is to only go places where it’s warm and to stay away from really cold places.

with all that said, a couple things I can’t live without is a heated steering wheel and heated seats. A heated jacket I can live without.

I did night shift snow removal for 25 years. took care of stock as a kid and climbed trees all year for too many years and I would prefer not to be cold ever again. I really like the indoors these days. Next week I'll be in Kansas City, Vernal UT, Bozeman MT and more. Its going to be nasty in all those places I just know it.
