I think it always should be that way. 82 days until the bluegill fishing. Also 81 days, also 80 days also 79 day.........

They will close the stocked trout streams March 1st, after that it's either special regulation stretches or native brookie / wild brown unstocked
streams. I was out twice this year so far, getting too cold for fly fishing, the line and rod guides will freeze over, time for ice fishing.

I won’t complain the year round stretch is a few hundred yards from my porch.

Lol. I just ran to WaWa for a coffee and I was thinking it felt like spring at 40. Amazing what you get use to.

I didn't mind the cold till I was about 64-65, but never liked the cold with wind.

Worked outside until 40 and then on the road in hard to be warm casual clothes ever since. In car out of car into greenhouse and out all day.
Now I always wear base layer. Helps allot.

They moved it to accommodate the earlier trout opening. There is only one lake in our area it effects.
