I’m all for slotted keepers. I don’t judge for keeping fish. Killing a trophy fish in the name of table fair in most. Most as in most not all. Is most likely a way to show your buddies a dead fish. Then having to gut it cause you killed it. Keep the slotted 12-20”ers and throw the rest back for future use.

I pretty much agree but there are a few exceptions. Slots were a big part of the return of Sturgeon in many areas. I think there are more species it may help...especially at a commercial fishermen or guided fishing level. Enforcement is tough though.
