I deleted that boot sorry. Carry on.
Oh I get it now. Perhaps I owe an apology as i was overly general in the name of brevity. please allow me to further explain. Of course I like some YouTubers like fly tying videos or for when I want to learn a new knot or there is an epic face plant going viral but I do not subscribe to any channels. What I despise are the infomercial YouTubers. I also don’t like guys who are members of a fishing forum but do not contribute anything to the forum other than posting a video in an attempt to get people to click on it. That definition does not apply to those posting videos here as everybody seems to contribute in other ways as well and nobody in the videos have been trying to sell me anything. I’ll gladly watch a video of you catching a fish as long as your not trying to hawk the 25 dollar plug that you caught the fish on just because someone “sponsored” you or sent you a free plug.

If I offended any YouTubers here (A-5) you have my apologies. Again, my broad strokes were so I wouldn’t have to go into great detail as I myself dislike reading long winded posts. If anybody out there fancies themselves as a pro or think themselves a pro (Scott Martin) or just want me to like and subscribe to your channel so you can one day get free stuff you may continue to be offended.

I totally ignore the info commercial. I look at it this way. I grew up on the awful Saturday and Sunday fishing and hunting shows. Commercials all the time. I can FF through it on YouTube and enjoy a video. Scott Martin does a travel blog going to tournaments. It’s fairly entertaining and funny. To each his own and thanks for clarification Boot. I understand the view you have now.

That is what is so unique about this site. We’re careful about each other but keep the goal in site. I’ve learned more in 3.5 yrs, mostly on this site than I learned in the preceding 40+ years. Thanks Melvin for invite’n me over.

Nuts & Bolts Guy
I have to add to my original post….

There are 3 legends that I grew up with and I still watch their programs when shown and videos on YouTube. Bill Dance, Jimmy Houston and Roland Martin. They are an entertaining bunch. Their programs are usually just an infomercial but it’s easy to look past that as they are entertaining. The Lindners and Hank Parker for the honorable mentions. ;)
