Crappies were feeding, found some sunken trees and they were hanging around, caught 9 all but one were keeper sized, with a few gills mixed in.

Tried again this afternoon, another spot near a blow down produced 20 crappies ! Not as big as yesterday but solid.

Leave dock (red) through the heavy weeds(orange) fish in the yellow. Large perch’s and crappy. 10”-14” on both. Water is only 6’ deep. Minnows, half crawler, white/yellow swim jig, beetlespins with 1 or two inch kieteck shiners style

BTW, After a couple hundred yards the weeds thin out and you'll be fishing in almost clear water down in the yellow areas. Just enough weed to make the fish feel comfy until your bait swims by.
