Seems when it's a little muddy and bigger lures they hit it even 80lb. But when the smaller lures or live bait and clearer waters they follow.

Worms might be different the last time I fished a worm was years ago and it was a natural color.

Ya I have the wire not that size I have in 60lb and 1 in 80lb. Wonder if the lower lbs will still work. Right now going to try the fluoro as it's not as visible. The wire seems to really stick out in the shallower waters. And I think they are seeing it as I get more follows than bites right...

Not the way I hear it for Muskie. 80lb fluoro is even under what they say for a leader. Should be at 120lb. Honestly don’t think mono would cut it for them.

Had to get it was on sale at Amazon. Was jig one of my zoom craws in the river for bass and saw a fish come out and grab it. Thinking a small muskie. Never felt weight as it was probably was sliced off

Saw one work it was a small gill and a big SM came out and grabbed it could barely fit it in its mouth. The guy hooked too early or he could have had it. Did it twice.

I've been seeing others out. It is really dry here think it's the dew and moisture in the mornings that got them coming out.

Sheep's are in. Didn't think they'd be out with the heat.

Found a dead LM once it was probably around 7in. Put it on and fished it for a couple hrs then ended losing it. Never had a bite.

Trout are great for Muskie I seen a guy with a trout on once using it for bait alive. Another told me he ate the trout and used its head in the river and showed me a pic of a big catfish. As what I also thought is the baitfish have to come from same waters or anything connected.

Ya I new all 3 are same. Muskellunge means ugly pike. 😂

New about the different Muskie but didn’t now about the pike. Are there Amur and southern pike in our waters.

If you see them then that’s when you really want to fish for them as theirs more around. Plus remember those spots cause one leaves another will take its spot.

I’m sure if they are stocked lakes both dams should have Muskie in them. From what I read is Beltzville should have them there. I would ask the people who fish their regular what comes in there. Can’t help ya out that much since I don’t fish up there. I just starting to know what Muskie like to...
