If anything I would go for below the dam. If you can see them then you know they are there and can be easier to get. Bring big gear and the biggest lures you got. Cast them over and over. Look for rocks and if a drop off just jig the lure in that spot. Also run the lure to the very end. Good luck.

Don don’t know what to say about as what does it have to do with catching a fish. I’m not out to saw weeds down. Haha. Plus I would want the weeds to stay there and not loose on my lure. You should fish the way you feel comfortable and actually catch fish.

Craw or frog is mainly an eye site thing. That is more of an action calling the muskie in to check it out.

Suppose to be a baitfish way a lot of muskie lures work is it pushes a lot of water and from what I read muskie love that. Any big lure that you make look dying injured or just plain crazy can get a bite.

So instead of buying a medusa lure for around 30 bucks I bought a cheap bulldawg and made a mold then had to put the 3 tails together. Then made another mold so it had the 3 tails. Now to see how it swims.

I've been making my own for a couple years now. Think it's around a 7 in. Had a couple follows but haven't had any take it. Not caring for the paddle tail. Think curly tails work better.

Yes they are very clean out of there. Also the turtles. Would make for some good soup.

So far Don never caught one off of plastic paddle tail. But I guess I never really tried one big enough.

You can always use those heavier rods for bigger lures for them bigger fish.

I don't fish hair jigs but they are easy to tie up what you want. Can use all sorts of materials.

I do believe we got a couple on chartiers creek but I think they are treated.
