Never tried or even thought of trying garlic. Not really a big fan but if I have garlic I usually eat it. Not for the fish. Guess I’ll have to give a piece up. So far bread, doughball with some corn mixed in, or just corn best is the deer feed boil it down. Works the best.

Have to disagree.

River fishing is hard but just like everything you gotta learn the spots that have fish. Even some of the river fish I wait till some go up creeks or smaller bodies of water. Easier to get them.

So far every sheepshead I’ve caught has put up a great fight even the smaller ones. A little fun fact for your what fish fights harder. If you want harder fighting fish then start fishing the rivers and stay away from lakes. ;) Fish that have to swim in stronger currents always put up a better...

All of them warm water fish are starting to wanna do their thing. Some are schooling up now with the weather. Goin to miss all that fun Don.

Out of all the fish I’ve caught that were a blast to get, there’s always seems to be that one that always fights harder than the rest. Id have to go with drum.

This moth is supposed to be completely frozen right now. Only to thaw in the spring.

Seems like with this little bit of nice weather everything seems to think it’s spring time. I hear the spring birds in the morning. Seeing some of the flowers to be coming out. Punxsutawney Phil said more winter. Looks like it’s going to be more snow in march. 🌷🌹❄️🌨️🐦🦕

So the first time I went on the ice was standing next to the hole 🕳️. Heard the ice cracking and shifting my buddy laughed at me cause I was about 10feet away from the hole. Don’t know where I was going but wasn’t standing next to that hole anymore. Crazy how that ice moves.

Also there are charts you can find on the internet tells you hook size to bead size. Like Mel said sometimes bigger barbs get in the way you can pinch them down. Also gotta watch hook bends if it’s a sharp bend in the hook bead will not go around. Looking for hooks with a wider gap. When I...

You can always be one of that guy who walks around with a can of corn and throwing it in the holes full of trout to feed them so the others can’t catch them.
