We usually fish from the one boat launch to the other, fishing the middle, edges and weed beds. We did the whole length of the lake but ran out of juice getting back. That was fun.

Our symptoms are mild. The Dr said let it run its course unless it changes. Just another bump in the road. Had many before it, will have many after it.

Only thing I caught this week was COVID, 1st time. Now waiting to see who else around me gets it. The fish can rest a bit.

The boat trips are nearing end. I did OK, Shiela caught 1-2. I caught 4-5 Pickerel, a bluegill, this monster bass and a solid crappie. The boat is just under 16ft so life vests back on until the season ends.

I've read and have been told Fairview has walleye. It's much smaller and not that far away. I'm hoping to hit it this coming Spring.

Things are grinding to a halt. I managed 2 Pickerel for a few hours of work and that was it for us. The boat trips are nearly done but I'll be wading until we stay below freezing. If I can work in poor conditions I can fish through it.

Are we talking Wallenpaupack? I'd like to get my 1st Walleye, I am way over due.

Next time I'll be in waders and holding a fly rod. I love finding new waters.

Picked these up at an Estate sale and a solid wood rocking chair. All for under $100. The wood reel was $5! I think I'll sell the Penn 4/0 Senator Special. It's barely used, wound with wire and all metal hardware, not the cheaper newer stuff. It was too clean to pass up.

I prefer foot controls in the bow especially if it's windy. If you fish alone, sit in the back and place the battery there you point upwards in small boats.

Sometimes I forget I used to fish. Threw some flies, nothing. Throw a 1/32 spinner and wild trout were coming out of the woodwork. Small ones except for this one.

Road runner style. I throw both but this year the road runner style produced everywhere we threw it.
