Waded a stream near us for 2 hours. Slow start but ended up with 4 Fallfish, 1 on the fly. Ended with 2 trout on small curly tail grubs with spinner jig heads. I never knew that was a thing for trout but now I do.

My only chance to fish this weekend was cut short by drenching rain. We tried Prompton again, it was slow but I managed 2 Pickerel, one small Perch and this Crappie. I got it on a micro top water lure then the skies let loose and the trip was cut short.

Yeah check Walmart in person. They had it $50 cheaper in store than on line. I saw one box with a price tag $53 cheaper than it scanned and they honored it. They had others with some great prices if they honor the price on the tag.
