Been getting skunked on some days but hooking into a couple here there. Doesn’t hurt to switch up. A lot of fish are getting sluggish. I’ve been running around doing some lake fishing from shore then going to do some creek fishing.

I kept them one time fillet them. It smelled and the touch was very rubbery. Tasted nasty. One bite the rest got thrown away. When they start to die like that I wouldn’t eat them. Catch them fresh in the lake I hear they taste better.

Pretty much they way it is to fish for them once word gets out, more fishermen than fish. It’s hard finding spots by yourself but they are out there. A lot of wading.

Atlantic salmon and lake trout are native to Great Lakes. Brook trout are native to the eastern side.

Heard when they stocked the coyotes they had hybrid wolf dna.

Looks like a lot of bodies of water around. Might have to follow the river see if you can find some pull offs. Or hit a park.

Can't believe it hit. Me thinks it's a big goldfish. Very light in color with spots. Not really a good pic.

Good strike on the figure 8s. Plus something to point out if your using a big net. Do not stick it in the water like the kid did. I've done this and lost a lot. You scare them and loss them. If using a net skim the water as much as possible with some force.

Always do you figure 8s even if fishing from shore and it's deep. Also they are not really deep water fish so 10 to 20 feet

Looks like a good one to try. Once you start to look at and use it you will start to learn how to read it. Even the fish id setting can help.

I shouldn’t be posting my top lures for musky but I guess I let this one slip. If you wanna really try for them phantom softail. If it has smallmouth in the lake than get that color or stick with the colors of the fish in the lake. Try to know the depth and do the count. They will hit it on...

Just looked it up looks like a lot of good fish are in there. If you going to troll try some bigger lures. Even stop and jig those drop offs. What you think your going for.
